Reading: Luke 1:5-24
Elizabeth and Zachariah have waiting their whole married life to have a child. Years and years counted out in 28 day increments. When something that we long for is out of our control it can tear us apart. Sometimes the way we manage the stress of waiting is by grasping for some control in a different aspect of the waiting – we want to know how long it will be, we distract our selves with other activities.
How do you wait when you are unable to control the outcome? What is your favorite strategy?
