“Sit down and be quiet. You are drunk, and this is the edge of the roof” – Rumi

The pace of the Christmas season can sneak up on us. We don’t even notice the ways that our busyness takes us out of our own bodies. Sometimes we just need to stop – we get the flu, we break down emotionally, we fight with our families. Before we fall off the roof, we can choose a better way. Breathe, set your things down, receive yourself with tenderness. Remember the seal that God has set upon your heart in your baptism. Remember nourishment that you received in the bread and the cup. Remember the grace and love that describes your place in the community of God’s people. Breathe.
What edge are you dangerously near?

How can you change your path?
